"The Washington Post has pulled a political cartoon that depicted Senator Ted Cruz as Santa with an
organ grinder and his two young daughters as dancing monkeys.
Cruz lashed out on Twitter: “Classy. @washingtonpost makes fun of my girls. Stick w/ attacking me–Caroline & Catherine are out of your league.” The cartoonist, Ann Telnaes, said she included seven-year-old Caroline Cruz and four-year-old Catherine in the cartoon after they were featured in their dad’s Christmas campaign ad."
