Hillary to run ads in --- Nebraska?

"Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign said Thursday that it would expand its eight-state television
advertising effort to include what at first blush might seem an unlikely location: heavily Republican Nebraska.

The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is planning to go up in the state’s 2nd Congressional District, which is centered on the city of Omaha.

Nebraska is one of only two states that awards part of its electoral votes based on congressional district. The other is Maine. In Nebraska’s case, two of the state’s five electoral votes go to the statewide winner. The other three are distributed on the basis of performance in its three congressional districts."

Better For America Party gaining ballot access

"A nonpartisan group working to ensure that a potential independent candidate for president will be on the ballot in all 50 states says it hopes to have locked down a challenger in one month’s time.
Better for America Chairman John Kingston, a conservative donor with ties to George W. Bush, John McCain and Mitt Romney, said his group has been in discussions with current and former senators, governors and senior military officials and “absolutely” expects an independent candidate will emerge.
Better for America launched earlier this month to ensure that any potential independent candidate that emerges will have ballot access in all 50 states.
While the group waits on a candidate, it's taking care of the cumbersome ballot access requirements
that are a hurdle for any independent candidate. The group is essentially carving out a placeholder on the ballot in hopes that the spot is claimed by a candidate at some later date.
Kingston, who launched the effort with his own money, said the group will be on the ballot in New Mexico, New Jersey, Delaware, Iowa and Alaska by the end of next week.
Deadlines to make the ballot in Texas, South Dakota and North Carolina have already passed. Deadlines in Illinois, Indiana and New Mexico come at the end of the month and require between 15,000 and 25,000 signatures.
The group counts conservative lawyers Mohammad Jazil and Matthew Sawyer as members. Sawyer notably served as general counsel to Ross Perot’s Reform Party bid in 1996, in which Perot took 8 percent of the vote.

CONFLICT OF INTEREST? - BIG TIME...

"So we are supposed to believe here that Bill Clinton, a 70-year-old man with a history of heart trouble, played golf in Phoenix where it was 108, 110 degrees, maybe he played on Sunday when it was 108, I don't know.  And then he's on the way to the airport to leave, is told that Loretta Lynch, the attorney general, is soon due to arrive, delays his departure, goes to a vacant private jet on the tarmac where she happens to be.  He delays his departure to go have the
meeting at which they discuss their grandchildren and their travels." RUSH

"Bill Clinton had a private meeting with Loretta Lynch when they were both in Phoenix Monday night. Which happened to be right before the damning Benghazi report was released on Tuesday.
Nothing is every a coincidence with the Clintons
But a ‘private’ meeting between former President Bill Clinton and sitting Attorney General Loretta Lynch at the Department of Justice is raising a lot of eyebrows–and not just Republican ones. Hillary Clinton is currently under FBI investigation for illicit private server practices at the State Department. The FBI is under DOJ jurisdiction.
The impromptu meeting, as the official explanation would have it, occurred after the political heavyweights serendipitously crossed paths at a Phoenix-area airport on Monday night.
Former President Clinton arrived prior to the Attorney General and awaited the arrival of Lynch’s flight, according to ABC 15 in Arizona. Clinton and Lynch then boarded a private plane on the west side of Sky Harbor International Airport." ChicksOnTheRight

Trump holds Hillary Accountable

"Trump on Wednesday blamed Hillary Clinton for the growth of the Islamic State during a campaign event here in Bangor, citing the recent terrorist attack at a major airport in Istanbul.
I've been watching her for so many years. She has been in that position for so long in one way or another. She hasn't done anything about what's going on. ISIS was formed during her tenure,” Trump said. “ISIS is now worse than ever. You see what happened yesterday, you see what's going on generally.” WP

POLL: Too Close to Call again?

"Democrat Hillary Clinton has 42 percent to Republican Donald Trump's 40 percent - too close to
call - as American voters say neither candidate would be a good president and that the campaign has increased hatred and prejudice in the nation, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today.

When third party candidates are added to today's survey, Clinton gets 39 percent with Trump at 37 percent. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 8 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 4 percent."

ISIS Strikes Turkey

"ISTANBUL — Explosions rocked Turkey's largest airport Tuesday night, killing at least three dozen
people and wounding scores more in what appeared to be a coordinated terror attack, officials said.
The gunmen opened fire around 10:30 p.m. local time (3:30 p.m. ET) at the entrance of the international arrivals area at Ataturk International Airport in Istanbul, where detonated explosives sent people running for their lives, witnesses and officials said.
The number of dead and injured fluctuated steadily overnight amid the confusion, and Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on television that at least 36 people were killed.
The Turkish Red Crescent counted "over a hundred" injured.
"I call on every citizen to act in unity and stand by each other, and I believe that this is going to be the best answer to the terrorists," Yildirim said. Initial indications are that ISIS carried out the killings, he added, "but we are still working on determining the cause." NBC

Trump Trade Protectionism: Hoover & Hillary Redux?

"On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, Donald Trump gave a speech that could’ve been given by the
likes of Herbert Hoover or Pat Buchanan. Trump was cherry picking quotes from the Founding Fathers and Lincoln to support his tariff policy. All tariffs will do is to create more government and more centralization. Why not trade tariffs for the federal income tax? But not tariffs on top on income taxes. Trump is now mimicking Hillary Clinton with his trade and economic policies, who in turn is mimicking Bernie Sanders. That’s why Trump continues to reach out to Sanders supporters because his views on trade are actually similar to that off of the democratic-socialist. In addition, countries have the capacity to retaliate and they did 85 years ago against Smoot-Hawley. The result was devastating and should be proof enough that tariffs will not help the average blue collar worker but harm them. They are a tax on the working man and woman. Also, Reagan policies resulted in the greatest burst of economic growth post Industrial Revolution, not protectionism. Trump is not going to bring jobs back to America through protectionist policies. Trump is a Herbert Hoover, Hillary Clinton protectionist tariff guy." MarkLevin

Hillary - Warren hit Ohio together

"Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will campaign for the first time with populist
U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren in Ohio on Monday in an early move to neutralize Republican Donald Trump’s appeal in the bellwether state.
Warren is a fiery critic of Wall Street and one of Clinton’s potential vice presidential picks. Ohio has backed every successful presidential nominee since 1964 and no Republican has won the White House without carrying Ohio.
Clinton’s decision to campaign with Warren for the first time in Cincinnati, a city on Ohio’s southwestern border with Kentucky and Indiana, is a bid to stop Trump from gaining ground in the state by focusing on how Clinton would help improve the U.S. economy." yahoo

Libertarian Johnson Weaving between parties

"Gary Johnson, the Libertarian Party's candidate for president, has generally steered away from the movement's dogmas in favor of politics that sound pragmatic. New ISIS Video Shows Golden Gate Bridge

"A new video released by ISIS today that heavily praised Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen also made specific threats against San Francisco and Las Vegas.
The video, released by ISIS in Mosul, rolls images of Mateen and news footage of the Pulse attack on June 12.
Also shown is the footage shot by Larossi Abballa during his June 13 attack on a French police commander and his family.
One Bosnian jihadist and two Frenchmen -- one bouncing a baby in his lap -- praise Mateen and Abballa and call for similar attacks in the U.S. and Europe.
Shaky handheld camera footage of the Golden Gate Bridge is shown, appearing as if it was taken with a cell phone camera along the bridge's pedestrian walkway. The camera shot pans up to one of the supports of the suspension bridge before focusing on the cars driving past." PJMedia

Dershowitz: Dem Sit-In Hurt Hillary

"Professor Dershowitz is a liberal Democrat, and Professor Dershowitz said that this stunt, this sit-in
at the House could hurt Hillary's chances to win the presidency. He said (paraphrased), "I'm a liberal Democrat; I'm a supporter of Hillary Clinton." He told this to Don Lemon. Don Lemon was one of these guys that was going nuts deliriously over this. And Professor Dershowitz, he said they hurt her. "They hurt Hillary Clinton by making fools of themselves."
Sitting in on Congress and pulling this kind of stunt? If Hillary Clinton's gonna win, she gonna win because she has gravitas and because the Republicans are a bunch of buffoons, but now it's the Democrats that look like the buffoons sitting on the House floor. American Left in meltdown over BREXIT

"Liberal CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour suffered an epic meltdown on Thursday night as it
became clear that Britain was asserting its national sovereignty and voting to leave the European Union. The sneering Amanpour repeatedly derided it as an example of “xenophobia” and “white identity” politics.
Early in the evening, with the result still in doubt, Amanpour told Anderson Cooper: A lot of the Leave movements are led by the hard-right, very, very xenophobic, anti-immigrant, very populist, nationalist, white identity politics.” Later, as reality set in, the journalist referenced the current issue of The Economist and raged, “This marks a victory for the kind of economic nationalism, to quote this article here, for the kind of xenophobia, that will imperil the liberal world order that has guaranteed western prosperity and stability since World War II.
Appearing on NBC’s Today, analyst and Daily Beast editor Christopher Dickey launched into a tirade against Britain’s vote to leave the European Union: “...they claim it says, right off the bat, is that they were tired of all the bureaucracy of the European Union, they didn’t want all the constraints, they want their sovereignty. But what this was really about is fear, xenophobia, in some cases, certainly racism.”" NewsBusters

Brexit Passes in Britain

"To recap, after results showed the majority of British voters chose to leave the European Union,
David Cameron announced his intention to resign in the fall. Cameron had supported the UK staying in the EU, but also called the referendum. It's unclear who would lead the Conservative party next, but Leave campaign leader Boris Johnson is a possible candidate, per several media reports. Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced a second independence referendum is likely after the majority of Scottish residents voted to stay in the EU. Northern Ireland leaders have also said a vote on Ireland unification is possible after voters there also voted in favor of remaining in the EU. It's unclear how quickly the exit process will take, but EU members - minus Britain - will meet next week on next steps in negotiations. UK leaders on both sides of the debate have said the process shouldn't be rushed. Additionally, the vote has sparked some lawmakers in other European nations to call for their own referendums.
