Hillary mad at Sanders "lying"

"Hillary Clinton got angry when confronted by a voter Thursday over donations she has received from the fossil fuel industry.
She was asked if she will follow through on her “word” to refuse “fossil fuel money” going to her campaign.
I have money from people who work from fossil fuel companies,” replied Clinton. She then said angrily, “I am so sick! I am so sick of the Sanders campaign lying about that, I am sick of it.” DailyCaller

Trump meets with RNC

"Trump was scheduled to be in the nation's capital to meet with his foreign policy team, but his
appearance at the RNC came as a surprise.
An RNC source told NBC News the meeting was planned last week and was originally intended to be a short, informal stop merely to take advantage of Trump's previously planned trip to D.C. But the New York real estate mogul ultimately spent nearly an hour huddling with GOP officials Thursday for a discussion that the source said included party unity and "a few other things" Priebus had hoped to discuss." Trump abortion comments draws fire from all sides

"Donald Trump’s assertion that “there has to be some form of punishment” for women who have illegal abortions sparked a firestorm of criticism across the political spectrum, with Democrats and Republicans as well as abortion rights activists and antiabortion activists condemning the Republican frontrunner.
Hillary Clinton was among the first to do so." yahoo

D.C. Dems stick it to Sanders

"As a result of a registration error committed by the District of Columbia Democratic Party, Sen. Bernie Sanders won't appear on the Washington D.C. ballot.
The Vermont senator's name won't appear on the ballot because the party submitted the requisite paperwork one day too late....Both the Sanders' campaign and Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton's campaign paid the $2,500 fee to appear on the June 14 Democratic primary ballot on time but the district's Democratic Party failed to inform the Washington D.C. Board of Elections until March 17, one day after the deadline." Politico

Rubio to hold onto delegates

"Despite suspending his campaign, Sen. Marco Rubio is attempting to keep every delegate he won while running for president.
The unusual move reflects preparations for a contested convention this summer — and comes as Donald Trump backed away from an earlier pledge to support the Republican party's nominee if he is treated unfairly after winning more delegates than his rivals.
Rubio aide Alex Burgos told MSNBC that while the Florida senator is "no longer a candidate," he "wants to give voters a chance to stop Trump."

When presidential candidates suspend their campaigns, typically their delegates become free to support the candidate of their own choosing at the convention. Rubio, however, has quietly been reaching out to party officials with a different approach.
He is personally asking state parties in 21 states and territories to refrain from releasing any of the 172 delegates he won while campaigning this year, MSNBC has learned.
Rubio sent a signed letter to the Chair of the Alaska Republican Party requesting the five delegates he won in that state "remain bound to vote for me" at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July." NBC

Trumpster Turns on Trump

"The former director of a pro-Donald Trump Super PAC officially defected from Team Trump on Monday with an essay about how she lost faith in her candidate of choice. Stephanie Cegielski, a strategist and communications specialist, says she was brought in to run the Make America Great Again Super PAC last summer, but ultimately came to realize what everyone who hasn’t fallen under the Trump spell could sniff from the very beginning: Trump is wholly unprepared to be president and is only out for himself.
Cegielski paints a picture of a campaign and candidate that began with modest aspirations of hitting double digits in support, but later caught fire and began to believe its own hype. Here’s a sampling of what Cegielski has to say:
Even Trump's most trusted advisors didn’t expect him to fare this well … the goal was to get The Donald to poll in double digits and come in second in delegate count. That was it. The Trump camp would have been satisfied to see him polling at 12% and taking second place to a candidate who might hold 50%. His candidacy was a protest candidacy … And I am now taking full responsibility for helping create this monster — and reaching out directly to those voters who, like me, wanted Trump to be the real deal
I don’t think even Trump thought he would get this far. And I don’t even know that he wanted to, which is perhaps the scariest prospect of all. He certainly was never prepared or equipped to go all the way to the White House, but his ego has now taken over the driver’s seat, and nothing else matters. The Donald does not fail. The Donald does not have any weakness. The Donald is his own biggest enemy.
What was once Trump’s desire to rank second place to send a message to America and to increase his power as a businessman has nightmarishly morphed into a charade that is poised to do irreparable damage to this country if we do not stop this campaign in its tracks … He doesn’t want the White House. He just wants to be able to say that he could have run the White House. He’s achieved that already and then some. If there is any question, take it from someone who was recruited to help the candidate succeed, and initially very much wanted him to do so. The hard truth is: Trump only cares about Trump." Slate

Police charge Trump campaign manager with battery

"Florida police have charged Donald Trump's campaign manager with simple battery in connection
with an incident earlier in the month involving a reporter.
After examining the evidence, Jupiter, Florida, police determined that probable cause existed to charge Corey Lewandowski, who has served as Trump's top political aide for his entire presidential run. Police on Tuesday morning issued Lewandowski a notice to appear before a judge on May 4 for the misdemeanor charge, which carries up to a year in jail.
A surveillance video released by the police appears to show Lewandowski grabbing Michelle Fields, who worked for Breitbart News at the time, as she tried to ask Trump a question during a March 8 campaign event.
The Trump campaign said Lewandowski "is absolutely innocent of this charge" in a statement released Tuesday. "He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court," said the statement. "He is completely confident that he will be exonerated." AP

Walker comments on open convention

"A contested Republican National Convention in July could lead to a GOP nominee who's not currently running for president, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker predicted Thursday.

National Enquirer goes after Cruz

"Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is battling an entanglement of rumors that allege the Texas senator is "hiding five different mistresses," according to the tabloid the National Enquirer. According to its source, identified as a "Washington insider," "private detectives are digging into at least five affairs Ted Cruz supposedly had," and "the leaked details are an attempt to destroy what's left of his White House campaign." The supposed affairs are detailed in the Enquirer's most recent print issue.
Though unconfirmed, the rumor sparked chatter across social media Friday with the hashtag #CruzSexScandal. People on Twitter were skeptical at best, scathing at worst." yahoo

More Hillary Corruption

"....the FBI is investigating former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for granting favors to her familys foundation donors and for its systematic accounting fraud.
To take one of so many examples, theres the case of Clinton Foundation donor Claudio Osoriowho is now housed at a federal prison serving twelve years for fraudwho in 2010, with Hillarys help (and Bills too), won a $10 million loan from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.
T
he loan was granted to an Osorio firm called InnoVida, which was supposed to build houses in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. Instead, Osorio pocketed the money and used it to underwrite his lavish lifestyle and to pay off politicians.

And that leads me to another Clinton Foundation donor Hillary helped out who happened to use Mr. Mantz (who now runs Hillarys presidential campaign Super PAC) as well, and apparently with the same great effect: Gonzalo Tirado, a crooked Venezuelan financier.
Tirado was president of and ran Venezuelan operations for the famously corrupt Stanford Bank, which was headquartered in Antigua and was named for its American founder, Allen Stanford. He and Stanford came to be extremely close, and were like father and son,one well-placed source told me.
Stanfords name may ring a bell as he was sentenced to prison for 110 years for committing an $8 billion Ponzi scheme .In 2006, the Hugo Chavez government was asked to investigate Tirado by scandal-plagued, pro-Wall Street New York Congressman Gregory W. Meeks, a member of the House Committee on Financial Services and a major recipient of cash and perks from jailbird Allen Stanford. Tirado was charged with tax evasion and theft, The Hill newspaper has reported.
(Tirado, who did not reply to a request for comment, has kept a low profile as of late. His last reported sighting came in 2014, when he unsuccessfully tried to commit suicide, or at least claimed he intended to kill himself.).
Incredibly, the Obama administration not only failed to help the Chavez government investigate Tirado, but it also indicted a legendary former DEA agent named Tom Raffanello, a one-time  head of the DEAs Miami office and the agencys chief of congressional affairs during Bill Clintons first term as president.
Raffanellos  subsequent prosecution, which ended in abysmal failure, almost surely was prompted and abetted by Tirado, a secret FBI informant. Unsurprisingly, the vindicated Mr. Raffanello had few kind words for Tirado or Hillary during a recent interview.
Tirado believed in buying influence,” Mr. Raffanello said of the crooked financier. He wouldnt give away ten cents that he didnt think hed get back a dollar on. That was his entire philosophy.
As for Hillary, he said that during her years in the Obama administration the prevailing wisdom in Miami at the time, among people in high profile civl and criminal defense circles, was that giving money to the Clinton Foundation was very helpful. She was secretary of state and a potential future president. Im sure that’s the same thinking now.
(Ms. Clintons presidential campaign did not reply to a request for comment.)
Up until 2006, life was cushy for pampered, wealthy, jet-setting Gonzalo Tirado, who was running the Stanford Banks Venezuela operations. Events took a turn for the worse when an internal Stanford Bank audit discovered that he had fleeced about $5 million from the company.
Tirados actions did not sit well with Stanford and the Venezuelan beat a hasty exit from his job. He soon opened a bank of his own and lured in a few local investors. His new enterprise went down the tubes and the defrauded locals, who were very close to the Chavez government, looked to it for help, leading to an investigation of Tirado.
(See this Wikileaked cable for more on the topic and on Tirados feud with the Venezuelan government.) That led to the filing of criminal charges against Tirado, as noted above. (The Venezuelan embassy in Washington did not reply to a request for comment.)
Mantz went to work lobbying Hillarys State Department to let Tirado stay in Miami. Meanwhile, the crooked Tirado donated between $5,000 and $10,000 to the Clinton Foundation, according to its website. As is its custom, the foundation does not state when the donation was made and declined to answer questions about the money it took from Tirado.
To sum up here, a corrupt Venezuelan banker hired a lobbyist close to Hillary Clinton, made a donation to her familys foundation, and has been allowed to live in the United States without fear of prosecution in his homeland." Observer

Wisconsin POLL: CRUZing.....

"As establishment Republicans look for ways to slow Donald Trump’s relentless march toward the
party’s presidential nomination, Wisconsin’s winner-take-all GOP primary contest on April 5 offers some intriguing possibilities. In a statewide Emerson College poll released today, Texas Senator Ted Cruz is not only leading Trump 36% to 35% in the upcoming primary, but Cruz is only trailing Hillary Clinton by one point in a hypothetical general election matchup, 46% to 45%. In contrast, Trump is trailing both Clinton and her Democratic rival, Bernie Sanders, by the same 9-point margin of 47% to 38% in a potential general election match-up." msn

European Union attacked in Mali

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, which began at around 6:30 p.m. local time (1830 GMT), but Mali and neighboring West African countries have increasingly been the target of Islamist militants, some of them affiliated with al Qaeda.
One of the assailants was killed and two suspects were arrested and were being interrogated, the country's internal security minister said." Reuters

Trump to submit list of Judges

"Donald Trump tried to assure a room of Palm Beach County Republicans on Sunday that his
conservative credentials were real - and that the party should unite behind him for the nomination, especially with a Supreme Court seat at stake.
To further prove that, the Republican front-runner told the crowd that he would submit a list of between five and ten judges that he would appoint to the high court, which currently has a vacancy due to the death of Justice Antonin Scalia, a conservative stalwart.
His remarks came a day after a New York Times report indicated that a group of prominent conservatives were looking, should Trump win the nomination, to find a candidate that would run against him in the general election. Trump has previously said that he would consider Judge William Pryor and Judge Diane Sykes, two well-known conservative jurists, as Scalia's replacement." CBS

I know that all of you understand what’s at stake in this election,” Clinton said. “We need steady hands, not a president who says he is neutral on Monday, pro-Israel on Tuesday and who knows what on Wednesday because everything’s negotiable. Well, my friends, Israel’s security is non-negotiable.”
Last month, Trump suggested he was “neutral” in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict so that he could negotiate with both parties." yahoo
