"John Kasich told a crowd of supporters gathered to watch the GOP presidential debate that he
thought he did well, but he would need to do much more to succeed in the Granite State.
The governor said he was pleased by his debate performance, but added that New Hampshire will not be won via a televised debate. He asked his team to "leave no stone unturned" while looking for supporters before Tuesday's primary.
"Let's run through the tape and send a message to America," Kasich said. "And then you're going to have to get your flip-flops because down in South Carolina you don't need snow boots, you need flip flops. We're going to South Carolina.
And then by the way, I mean this might be really hard, but we may end up having to go out to Vegas, you think you can handle that? And then we're going to go to the South. Now I'm starting to sound like Howard Dean here." WE
