"Democratic strategist and campaign veteran Joe Trippi is warning
his side that Republican Donald Trump should not be underestimated.
National
polls show the businessman with a huge and growing lead in the GOP
presidential race, a trend that Trippi only sees continuing.
"I still think he can go much higher in the polls. He’s getting 35
in New Hampshire today," Trippi told The Hill. "If you look at that,
that’s not the ceiling, because [Ben] Carson is getting like 6 or 7
points, Carly Fiorina is getting like 5 or 6 points."
"Those
are candidates that are outside of the system, haven’t held political
office. Those are all votes over there that could move to Trump." TheHill
