Consumer Confidence Slides

"US consumer sentiment plumbed its lowest level in 10 months, falling short of expectations for little
change in July, as turmoil in Greece and China roiled global financial markets.
The closely scrutinised index of consumer confidence fell to 90.9 from 99.8 in June, according to the Conference Board.
Economists on Wall Street had expected the index to remain relatively stable at 100.Consumers also tempered their expectations of the labour market, with the percentage anticipating more jobs slipping to 13.1 per cent from 17.1 per cent a month earlier." FT
