Trump leads G.O.P. Field

"Trump is supported by 25 percent of GOP primary voters, down 1 point since before the Aug. 6 Republican debate, while his support among women has ticked down from 24 to 21 percent in two weeks.
That came in a survey conducted after several days of criticism by Trump of debate moderator Megyn Kelly, a Fox News host, that saw intense backlash and condemnation from GOP rivals.
Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson grabbed 12 percent in the poll, released Sunday, up 5 points and rocketing to second place ahead of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
Cruz also ticked up in the poll after the debate, from 6 percent to 10 percent now, while Bush saw the biggest drop of any candidate following the debate, from 15 percent to 9 percent.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee stayed at 6 percent in the poll, tying Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who dropped 3 points. Walker also saw Trump take his lead in the early voting state of Iowa last week.
Businesswoman Carly Fiorina, who was widely viewed as the winner of the undercard debate, has jumped to seventh in the 17-person GOP field, up from 2 percent to 5 percent heading into the second debate next month." TheHill
