"Former Vice President Al Gore endorsed Hillary Clinton on Monday, the opening day of the
Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.
Gore, who served as President Bill Clinton’s No. 2, said in a series of tweets that while he was not at the convention, he does indeed support her. “Given her qualifications and experience — and given the significant challenges facing our nation and the world, including, especially, the global climate crisis, I encourage everyone else to do the same,” he tweeted. Gore drew headlines for not yet endorsing her, six weeks after she became the presumptive Democratic nominee." CNN
