"Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio) on Sunday called on law enforcement and the
communities they serve
to seek common ground for America’s greater good.
“The whole goal is to integrate police into the community,” Kasich argued on “Fox News Sunday.”
“At the end of the day, everyone has the same goals,” he told host Chris Wallace, citing freedom from crime, drugs and violence.
Kasich added that closer ties between police and citizens creates a better nation overall. Well-established civil order, he claimed, allowed for higher economic growth.
