"Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) fired back in his ongoing war of words with Sen. Rand Paul

(R-Ky.), suggesting that, if Paul is the party’s 2016 nominee, Republicans could lose the foreign policy debate.

 

“His record, in my view, shows a foreign policy vision one step behind leading from behind,” the South Carolina Republican told reporters. “All I can say, if he’s the nominee, I will support him, but if he’s the nominee of the party, I think we risk giving up the central issue of the 2016 campaign, which will be foreign policy.”

 

 Graham added that, while he likes Paul, “We’ve had a dispute about foreign policy ever since he’s been here. ... I think Sen. Paul’s record on this issue is frankly behind President Obama.”

Also of concern are the waves of Muslims immigrating to America after the catastrophic September 11 Islamic terror attacks. Fully 49 percent of Americans believe that Muslims across the world hate the United States of America. Eighty-six percent believe that “radical” Muslims—for example, the Somali Muslims imported into Minnesota who leave to join ISIS—are a threat to the U.S., while only 34 percent believe we are “safer” after 9/11." The Left's vitriol for Cruz's Christianity

"Cruz pandered fulsomely to the faith-deranged by choosing to announce at Liberty University, that bastion of darkness located in Lynchburg, Virginia. Once administered by the late Jerry Falwell, Liberty promises a “World Class Christian education” and boasts that it has been “training champions for Christ since 1971” – grounds enough, in my view, to revoke the institution’s charter and subject it to immediate quarantine until sanity breaks out.
Allow me a brief yet significant digression. One wonders, in Cruz’s case, if the malady of faith isn’t

acquired, but transmitted genetically.  In 2013, his father, Rafael, an Evangelical pastor, spoke at a Second Amendment advocacy  meeting in Oklahoma.  He declared atheism amounts to a lack of moral absolutes.  Hence, “If there’s no god,” then no moral absolutes can exist, “and you can change the rules.”  This “leads us to sexual immorality, leads us to sexual abuse, leads us to perversion, and of course, no hope!” At least one of Ted Cruz’s own direr musings — that gays are waging a ”jihad . . . in Indiana and Arkansas, and going after people of faith who respect the biblical teaching that marriage is the union of one man and one woman” ...

Marco Rubio's walk with God has been meandering and, some might say, fickle. As a child Rubio, who was baptized Catholic, made a brief but fervent conversion to Mormonism. His switch to the Church of the Latter Day Saints lasted three years.

As an adult, from 2000 to 2004 Rubio took a detour from his Catholic roots to exclusively attend Miami's Christ Fellowship, a Southern Baptist megachurch to which Rubio has given at least $50,000.
Now straddling both Christ Fellowship and the Catholic Church, Marco Rubio seems positioned to appeal both to conservative Catholics but also the anti-LGBT, demon-casting, creationist segment of the Protestant evangelical right.
Though he's now primarily and "firmly" Catholic, Rubio has recently told Religion News Service reporter Sarah Pulliam-Bailey that he has "maintained the relationship with Christ Fellowship" and often attends services at the church.
During his Protestant years, Rubio revealed in his 2012 memoir, he nonetheless "craved, literally, the Most Blessed Sacrament, Holy Communion" (of the Catholic Church.) So, the rising GOP star found a practical, buffet-style solution. Rubio divulged that on Saturday nights he brings his family to worship at Christ Fellowship, and on Sunday the Rubio family attends St. Louis Catholic Church."

Cruz asks pastors to pray

Jindal hits Hillary over her Lie

In an email this morning from an AmericanFutureProject.com address, Jindal slammed the Democratic candidate for president over inaccurate claims she made about her family ancestry.

Clinton, appearing in Iowa, claimed all of her grandparents are immigrants. After Buzzfeed countered the remark with records that showed the claim was inaccurate, a Clinton spokesperson said she had been mistaken about her family’s heritage.
In the email, which was sent with the subject line “A special prayer,” Jindal notes that his parents ARE immigrants — they came to Baton Rouge from India shortly before his birth.
“When I was a boy, my father would make my brother and I say a prayer,” Jindal writes. “He would tell us: ‘Get on your knees and thank God almighty that you were blessed to be born in the greatest country in the history of the world.'”

"Schweizer has done numerous exposes in the past.  He's got a new book called Clinton Cash.  It's not out yet. It comes out on the 5th of May.  But the New York Times had a very, very, very concerned and worried write-up of the book in yesterday's editions.  "The book does not hit shelves until May 5, but already the Republican Rand Paul has called its findings 'big news' that will 'shock people' and make voters 'question' the candidacy of Hillary Rodham Clinton."
The book, a copy of which was obtained by The New York Times, asserts that foreign entities who made payments to the Clinton Foundation and to Mr. Clinton through high speaking fees received favors from Mrs. Clinton's State Department in return.  'We will see a pattern of financial transactions involving the Clintons that occurred contemporaneous with favorable US policy decisions benefiting those providing the funds,' Mr. Schweizer writes.

His examples include a free-trade agreement in Colombia that benefited a major foundation donor's natural resource investments in [Colombia], development projects in the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake in 2010, and," get this: "more than $1 million in payments to Mr. Clinton by a Canadian bank and major shareholder in the Keystone XL oil pipeline around the time the project was being debated in the State Department."
So here you have $1 million payment to Clinton by a Canadian bank that was a major shareholder in the Keystone XL oil pipeline at the time Keystone XL was being debated in the State Department.  Obviously, this bank paid Clinton a million dollars to influence Hillary to try to influence Obama to try to approve the Keystone XL pipeline.  The book is filled with details and answers like that.
Not to mention, by the way, the just uncovered news that the Clinton family slush fund's -- the Clinton Family Foundation's -- largest individual investor was allowed to violate the sanctions against Iran during Hillary's watch at the State Department.  Did you know that?  The largest individual donor to the Clinton Family Foundation was allowed to violate the sanctions against Iran while Hillary was at the State Department.  "Clinton Cash..." Huckabee on Christians in the military under Obama

“This administration has had an open hostility toward the Christian faith,” Huckabee responded.

And I know that sounds like a bold statement, Jan, but when you have a president whose administration orders its chaplains to put its Bibles away, not to pray in Jesus name, not to counsel people on the issues of sexual morality; when you have this attitude that is more about promoting gay marriage and gay rights in the military than it is about being able to protect religious liberty for those people of faith, it’s going to be hard to find people that are truly devoted people of faith and Christian believers and Orthodox Jews and others.
Why would they want to be in a military that would be openly hostile and not just simply bring some scorn to their faith, but would punish them for it?

So what would Huckabee say to parents whose son or daughter wants to join the military?
