Cruz Hits Ground in New Hampshire

"Ted Cruz notched an upset victory in Iowa Monday night, and only hours later the circus rolled into town here at his first Granite State event in the final sprint to the New Hampshire primary.Around noon on Tuesday, voters filed into the Crossing LIFE Church, which quickly became too cramped for the swarms of residents and reporters. Epic music swelled to score triumphant video montages of Cruz campaigning across the country,.“So, what a victory last night!” he declared.“The reason we’re here today is we want our country back,” he proclaimed. “There is an awakening sweeping this country.”...Cruz also tailored some of his message to the New Hampshire audience, emphasizing the state’s crucial role in helping lift Ronald Reagan to a primary victory in 1980." RUSH Praises Rubio

"I don't like this idea that Marco Rubio is all of a sudden being labeled as an establishment
candidate. I know that Rubio's got the baggage of that 'gang of eight' bill...I understand that. But I'm here to -- Marco Rubio is no moderate Republican centrist...I'm just telling you, I don't see Marco Rubio as anything other than a legitimate, full-throated conservative. Nobody's pure and nobody is ever free of making mistakes. I know Senator Rubio...I don't like his idea that we're all of a sudden going to make Rubio the establishment bad guy, as though Rubio is no different from the McCains, and the Bob Doles, and the Romneys, and the others that have come along and been nominated by the establishment. He just isn't." RUSH Limbaugh

Trump calls for nullifying Cruz's votes in IOWA

"Donald Trump said Ted Cruz “stole” his win in the Iowa caucus after the Texas senator’s staff spread rumors that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race with the hopes of garnering the retired neurosurgeon’s votes — and as a result, Mr. Cruz’s votes should be “nullified” WT

Past 3rd Party Candidates who Endorsed in Iowa

"The Iowa GOP caucus has been won by Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas. Cruz was endorsed by 2008
Libertarian Party nominee Bob Barr, as part of his outreach effort to lowercase-l libertarians that merited a mention in Cruz’s victory speech.

Second place went to Donald Trump, who in 2000 briefly sought the nomination of the Reform Party and has in the past identified as an independent. He has also been endorsed by 2012 Constitution Party nominee Virgil Goode.

Rand Paul, who worked on his father’s 1988 campaign as the Libertarian Party presidential nominee and campaigned with Ron Paul in the final days before the caucus. Paul’s 2016 candidacy has also been endorsed by 2008 Constitution Party nominee Chuck Baldwin." IPR

PAUL DROPS OUT....

"Rand Paul dropped out of the 2016 president race on Wednesday, short on cash and support, two
days after finishing with under 5 percent in the Iowa caucuses — less than one quarter of the support his father had drawn four years earlier.
The Kentucky senator, who pitched his libertarian-infused brand of conservatism as transformational for the Republican Party, will exit the national stage and instead run for reelection to the Senate.
“Brushfires of Liberty were ignited, and those will carry on, as will I,” Paul said in a statement." Politico

“Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying that Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story,” Cruz’s campaign said in a statement. “That’s fair game. What the team then should have done was send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out. This was a mistake from our end, and for that I apologize to Dr. Carson.” CNN

Hillary Wins Iowa - by a Coin Toss Literally

"While it was hard to call a winner between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders last night, it’s easy to say who was luckier.
The race between the Democrat presidential hopefuls was so tight in the Iowa caucus Monday that in at least six precincts, the decision on awarding a county delegate came down to a coin toss. And Clinton won all six, media reports said." MarketWatch

"Donald Trump at a Sunday service at First Christian Orchard Campus in Council Bluffs, .... When communion was passed to Trump, wife Melania, and two staffers in attendance, the GOP front-runner briefly mistook it for the offering plate and grabbed a number of bills from his pocket, according to AP.
