"While visiting a church in the "battleground" state of Florida over the weekend, Republican vice presidential nominee Indiana Gov. Mike Pence shared his testimony and offered an inside look at the GOP presidential campaign that likely surprised a lot of people.

While attending First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Pence was allowed to speak to the congregation, and used the opportunity to share his personal testimony. He discussed how he "walked away" from the faith of his upbringing when he went off to college, and how a shiny necklace brought him back.
"I went off to college and had largely walked away from the faith that I was raised to believe in," he said. "But when I got to college, I met a group of folks in a non-denominational Christian fellowship group."
One of the study group members wore a "beautiful cross necklace" that he greatly admired, and he asked the man—who has been his friend ever since—how he could buy one and start being a Christian too. His friend told Pence, "You know, you've got to wear it in the heart before you wear it around your neck."

ISIS CHEMICAL WEAPONS hits U.S. base in Iraq

Tuesday evening, a U.S. official told Fox News.
The U.S base outside Qayyarah, 25 miles south of Mosul, was struck by a rocket and traces of a "mustard agent" were believed to be present, the official said. The attack was first reported by CNN.
A Pentagon official told reporters that a “tar-like black oily substance” was found on the shell, which landed within the base hundreds of yards from U.S. forces. An initial test for the agent was positive, but “could be false," the official said. The second test was negative, possibly because the shell had been exposed to the elements." FOX

Black Police Chief Responds to Charlotte shooting

"Charlotte police warned 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott again and again to drop his handgun before

an officer shot and killed him, the police chief announced Wednesday morning, after riots damaged patrol cars and injured at least 16 officers, one of whom was hit in the face with a rock.
Police Chief Kerr Putney said during a news conference that officers were searching for a suspect Tuesday when they saw Scott exit a vehicle with a handgun at an apartment complex on the city's northeast side. "The officers gave loud, clear verbal commands which were also heard by many of the witnesses. They were instructing the subject, once he got out of the vehicle, to drop the weapon... Mr. Scott exited his vehicle armed with a handgun as the officers continued to yell at him to drop it."

Don King drops "N" word at Trump event

Wednesday, when the octogenarian ex-boxing promoter accidentally dropped the N-word.
King, 85, was introducing Trump with remarks in which it appeared he was trying to explain the nature of discrimination in the U.S., when he made the unfortunate gaffe.
"America needs Donald Trump, we need Donald Trump … especially black people," King, who is supporting Trump's presidential bid, said at the Cleveland Heights church where the mogul was set to speak.
"They told me, you got to try to imitate and emulate the white man and then you can be successful so we tried that," King continued, before trying to explain how racism has plagued African-American community.
"If you're poor, you're a poor negro. I would use the N-word. But if you're rich, you're a rich negro," King said. "If you're intelligent and intellectual, you're an intellectual negro." msn

They literally go berserk over a Skittles comment, which then causes a former FBI director, Jim Kallstrom to say, "When are we gonna get serious about this?"  And he's echoing the Trump campaign.  "When are we gonna get serious about this?"  It was just yesterday we learn that 800 people scheduled to be deported were granted citizenship.  Did you hear about that?  Eight hundred people who were supposed to be deported were granted citizen because their fingerprints were not in an electronic file."
